
Program Overview
The HR solutions course is aimed at anyone embarking on a career in HR,
or for those incorporating HR responsibilities within other
roles, such as payroll and administration.
The programme provides a broad overview of human
resources, incorporating employment legislation and the practical
management of people issues. It is structured to provide a practical
understanding of all the core issues relating to a HR role.
Participants work in groups, tutored by experienced
HR professionals who are accredited online tutors through the institute
of Leadership and Management.
The course is a combination of online learning
material, case studies and discussions with other delegates, plus
group and individual tutor feedback.

Christine has
gained over 15 years experience in Personnel and Human Resources
with blue chip companies. Christine combines her extensive experience
in employment law and her ability to simplify this complicated
subject, along with her extensive experience in counselling and
training to present her subjects in a natural yet professional
way. Christine is an accredited online tutor. She has also worked
very closely with Edexcel/BTEC to create these two levels of
professional qualifications for HR. |

Bob
spent most of his employed career
in two large industrial conglomerates
where he headed up the HR function,
specialising in industrial relations
and the application of employment
law. He set up his own HR consultancy
practice in 1988 and now helps and
advises clients in the public and
private sector throughout the UK
and Ireland where he is recognised
as a successful solver of employment
problems. He writes extensively on
HR matters and his work is published
throughout the English speaking world.
He presents courses and seminars
on employment law and allied topics
for HRD and Payroll Solutions. Bob
is a graduate in Social Science,
a Fellow of the Chartered Institute
of Personnel and Development, and
a Member of the Chartered Management

A
long career as a personnel manager for a top Plc company,
specialising in personnel and payroll information
systems, is the background to Ian's current freelance
work as a writer and lecturer in HR & Payroll
matters. He is an experienced and attentive tutor,
a staunch advocate of HR & Payroll professionalism
and enjoys a wide following for his analysis
of payroll and personnel systems, issues and
related legislation. Ian brings all this experience
to the benefit of students on these eLearning
